COLATINCO's Mother Plantation and Nursery

COLATINCO's Malayan Jamaican Dwarf coconut Mother Plantation and its nursery are located at Hacienda Oxtapacab, 45 minutes by highway from Merida, capital of the State of Yucatan, Republic of Mexico.


Each seed we use comes form our Mother Plantation. Seeds are rigidly selected, germinated, and placed in our nursery following the strictest contemporary agricultural practices.


	COLATINCO's coconut Mother Plantation and its nursery are registered with Mexico's Secretariat of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Rural Development that permanently supervises and certifies our compliance with Mexico's Official Standards.


Having its own coconut Mother Plantation in full production and a constant inventory of plants ready for shipment in its nursery provides COLATINCO the capacity to supply this region's demand of Malayan Jamaican Dwarf coconut palms, the needs of other States of Mexico and those of its foreign customers.

The care that COLATINCO provides to its production during the whole process, beginning in the Mother Plantation all the way through the maintenance of the polybaged seedlings, provides a sound basis for the future manifestation of these coconuts' genetic potential.
